Tunnel Book Cut-out

This is my tunnel book. I made it using a blade and a ruler. I cut out each layer separately. After the cutting was done I painted the layers separately with water color. I glued all the pages together after the paint dried.

Cyanotype

Using a black and wight outline of an image that I previously created, I printed it on clear plastic.
I painted a different paper with some special paint. Then I put the clear sheet with the design no it over the painted paper and left ti in the sun for ten minutes. After the sun I washed the paper in the sink, then I sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide to make the color pop.

Clay Face Mug

This is my clay face mug. It was made from wet clay, after i was happy with the shape it fired.
Then  the blue and black glaze was added and fired to create a interesting blue face mug.

Hot Glue/Rust Painting

This project was completed in a few important steps. First I drew the design with a pencil then traced the lines with hot glue. After the hot glue was dry I painted the sky with acrylic paints. After that dried I painted the buildings with copper metallic paint. When the copper was dry I applied a  rusting agent and the buildings were left to rust over a weekend. Being satisfied with the amount of rust I covered the rust with sealer to stop the rusting. Using black paint i put on some shadows as the final touch.

Crayon Melting

This is my Dabbin' crayon melt. It was made using a clean canvas, contact paper, and crayons.
After cutting out the contact paper into the shapes I wanted I stuck then on the canvas.
Using a heat gun i melted crayons above the canvas, and I had the melted crayon run down the paper.
After they had dried I pealed off the contact paper revealing the final image.

Water Marbling/Smoke Painting

I made this using two methods. First I lit one corner of clean paper on fire. After putting it out, using a candle I make deeper smoke stains near the initial burn. The second method is water marbling. After filling a tray with water i poured paint on the surface. I used bright green and pink house paint. When the water was mostly cover in floating paint I placed a clean paper on the surface. After pulling the paper out I set it up right to get that ruining paint affect. When it dried i combined the two. For the final touch I added Sharpe lines.

I created this light painting using a camera a tripod and an assistant (Cade).
For someone that is holding a camera for the first time this might seam difficult, but after 5 minutes of tinkering and pressing wrong keys anyone can do it.
Once you get it the consent is simple. your basically combining lots of photos to make one.
